Parking Information
- Want a guaranteed parking spot
within walking distance of the Museum? Consider the
convenience of the College Avenue Parking Deck.
It features 685 spaces and is only a block away from the CDM. The deck is free during the evenings (6p-6a), on Sundays, and the first hour is always free no matter what time of day. Otherwise, parking will be just $1 an hour, and special all-day and overnight rates are also available.
- There is a small parking lot across the street from the
Museum, directly to the north. This lot offers two hour
parking.
- There is another small lot, located near the
intersection of Beaufort and Broadway, to the west of the
Museum, that offers two hour parking.
- Parkinson Street Lot: This parking lot is adjacent to the Amtrak station and has been designated as public parking. However, please note this lot is often full with long-term Amtrak parking. Simply drive east on Beaufort; turn right (south) on Linden, go over the railroad tracks; and then turn right (west) on Parkinson St. The public is welcome to park in any non-signed spaces for up to three hours.
