kids geared up for learning! April & May fill up fast so make your
reservations early!
Museum Hours
Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday 9 a.m. to
5 p.m., Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m.
Where is the Museum located?
The Museum is located at 101 E. Beaufort St., Uptown Normal on
the corner of Beaufort and North Sts.
How long should a visit last?
We suggest that groups plan on exploring the museum up to two
hours. Special programs and/or lunch may extend your visit. Please
call the museum if you are running late. Learning labs will be
cancelled if your group is more than 30 minutes late and your $15
deposit will be forfeited.
Group Rates
School groups, home schools, licensed childcare facilities and
organized clubs that have 10 or more people in their group receive
the group rate of $3 per person. Teachers are FREE. Please note:
coupons or memberships may not be used for fieldtrips, as group
rates are discounted.
Chaperones: How many do you need? The Museum requires you provide
one adult chaperone for every five children. Without the
required number of adults, your group will not be admitted. Adults
are responsible for supervising children during your visit.
Discover More! Store
Purchases from the Museum Store help to support the educational
programs and exhibits of the Museum. Please note—sales tax will be
added to all items. To make special arrangements for pre-selected
gift items for students, call us at least three days prior to your
visit.
