Free Floor Programs at the CDM
Here are a few free floor programs you can look forward to this
spring. Free floor programming requires paid admission of $4 per
person ages 2 and above.
National Agriculture Week
Come celebrate National Agriculture Week at CDM! Step into the
AgMazing exhibit and experience agriculture first-hand. Meet experts
in the field, make and take agriculture projects, visit some furry
friends and more! Each day will host a variety of activities,
including a bus trip to the Ropp Farm on Saturday, March 22. Look
for details on our website.

Physics of Toys
A lot of basic science can be found in sports and toys. The ISU
Physics Club does more than just study; they also like to play! They
will bring some of their favorite toys along, so come and see what
scientific concepts there are in their design and use on Physics
Day!

Conservation of Energy
Energy is one of the central ideas in science and has many
different forms. Join ISU’s Physics Club and discover how the sun
creates its heat and light, how energy is used in our bodies, and
why energy does not really disappear when it’s “gone.”

Motion
From Aristotle to Galileo, many famous scientists had their ideas
about motion. Why does it occur, and how do we measure it?? Join us
as the ISU Physics Club presents some hands-on demonstrations of all
kinds of motion: fast, slow, straight lines, and in circles!

Little Red’s Day Off
Prairie Fire Theater presents “Little Red’s Day Off,” based on
the familiar storyline of Little Red Riding Hood.

FETCH Lab
The Museum’s FETCH!™ Lab activities will take place on the second
floor of the Museum daily at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and at 1 p.m. on
Sundays. Here is a complete schedule.
