Camp Invention
Camp Invention is back for its 2nd year at the Children’s
Discovery Museum! And we’ve got two new camps! Camp
Invention Explore and Camp Invention Experience. These
intense science camps are filled with activities that foster
creativity, teamwork, and inventive thinking skills. Campers
will be divided into appropriate age groups. Cost includes
camp, snack and drink. Bring sack lunches or order Avanti’s
for lunch. Avanti’s sack lunch includes 1/3 gondola, bag of
baked chips, applesauce and milk for $4.00. Payment must
accompany registration. MIN/MAX: 40/60
Camp Invention Experience
Is your dog eating too much homework? Invent a gizmo to
do your homework for you in The Case of the Disappearing
Homework, star in the closing scene of the latest, greatest
blockbuster movie in Special Effects: Move Magic, become a
detective and solve an exciting mystery in What’s Bugging
You and take apart small home appliances and invent
something completely new!
Dates: Monday, August 6 through Friday, August 10
Camp Times: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Cost: Registration before June 29 - $199
Registration after June 29 - $209 or register with a Buddy
for $180 each through June 11
$50 non-refundable deposit; Refunds available up to three
weeks prior to the start of camp.
Extended Care: 8:30 to 9 a.m. and 3:30 to
5:30 p.m.
Cost: $30 per child
