Blue Star Museum Free
The Children’s Discovery Museum is proud to offer Blue Star Museum benefits year round. Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment of the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,500 museums across America. First launched in the summer of 2010, Blue Star Museums offers free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Simply show your military ID card at our admission desk for free admission. Thank you for serving our country!
Museums for All $3 Admission
Museums for All is a cooperative initiative between the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Association of Children's Museums (ACM) to encourage increased and regular museum attendance by low-income and under-served families.
At the Children's Discovery Museum in Normal, any Illinois family that qualifies for nutrition assistance and is in possession of an EBT card (know as the Link card, WIC or SNAP) can simply present their card with a valid form of Identification, fill out the Registration Form and receive an annual Museums for All Pass.
Each visit, present your Museums for All Pass at our admission desk and receive a $3 admission for up to six people.
