Early Childhood Programs

Come learn and play with us! Our monthly themes will build your child's sense of wonder and playfulness as they engage in play, physical movement, music and art activities.

Love and Learn (3-12 months)

Recent research has shown how important the first three years of learning are in a child’s life. Join us for Love and Learn designed for children three to twelve months and their parent/caregiver.

During each 45 minute class you will create a special bond with your child and learn various types of play that promote learning and brain development. Each session includes a combination of instructor led activities such as songs, quick stories and finger plays. Plus, free exploration time with a variety of activity stations including, tunnels, musical instruments and blocks.

Playful Learners (12 months to 4 years) 

Playful Learners is designed for you and your child to learn and play together. When children play, they are learning a variety of skills all vital to their future success... including; problem-solving, communication and social-emotional. Each one-hour class begins with group time where children and adult partners play and interact together, then moves to center based learning where fine and gross motor skills are developed through play, physical moment, music and art activities.

Early Explorers (4-5 years old) 

Be like a big kid and join us for exciting hands-on learning and exploration. Each 90 minute drop-off class features literature, art, science, music and movement activities that tie to the monthly theme!

Growing Up Wild

Master Naturalists are members of our local community that love nature! The mission of the University of Illinois Master Naturalist Program is to provide science-based educational opportunities that connect people with nature and help them become engaged environmental stewards. These activities will help children connect with nature and develop an appreciation for our world’s limited natural resources.

Time: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
