All participants are required to wear a mask for the entirety of the program. Classes will be limited to 9 students each group. A second group will be added if sufficient interest is expressed. Each program will need a minimum of 5 students to run.

Discovery Day Camps offers children an opportunity to engage in STEAM based learning through play. Each day consists of play time in the classroom while students are arriving, themed activities, 30 min lunch, more fun activities, then snack and play time in the classroom during pick up. Children will have their own table and set of supplies and will not share materials with other program participants.

Ages: K-5 
Class Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Class Cost: $47 Members / Museums for All
                    $52 Non-Members

Children must bring a sack lunch and a water bottle to class.

Monday, March 22: Women in Science- March is Women’s History Month and what better way to inspire that by learning about the women scientists throughout history.  We will be highlighting a variety of women science with hands-on activities in chemistry, biology and more.

Tuesday, March 23: 
The Art of Yoga- Join us for a relaxing day combining yoga and art making! We will start our day by doing some fun yoga games and visual meditation with special guest yoga instructor, Merrit Spicer! We will continue our “zen” by creating two relaxing art projects inspired by our yoga experience. 

Wednesday, March 24:
 Environmental Science- Join us as we explore our environment and learn about what we can do to protect it! 

Thursday, March 25: 
Crafting Craze- 
It’s National Craft Month! Let’s use our creative minds to create some cool pieces of art.  We will explore a variety of different mediums and techniques to bring out our inner crafter.

Friday, March 26: 
Ag Science- Let’s celebrate Ag Week by learning more about soil, plant growth, and more.  We will even design tools for a harvesting STEM challenge. 

Friday, April 2:
 
Frequent Flyers- How do things fly? We will learn about the science of flight and experiment with making flying objects!

Friday, April 23: 
Terrific Trees- 
Arbor Day is in April so we will learn all about trees and why they are important. We will learn about some of the native trees around here and go on a nature hike.
