The whole day is FREE and designed to provide opportunities for all kids and parents to play and learn together! Fun, physically engaging activities are central to a healthy lifestyle. NEW Activity - NASA launch of the James Webb Telescope
This year the Museum is partnering with Heartland community College’s Challenger Learning Center and NASA to celebrate the launch of the James Webb Telescope this November. Challenger Learning Center will host a live Zoom meeting with NASA experts to discuss this amazing mission. Museum and Challenger Learning Center educators will be on site in the big tent with a variety of hands of activities to help us learn about some of the science and art around the launch. Come visit us to see a real space suit, test your skill at folding a space telescope to prepare it for launch, explore our expanding universe like the telescope will, design your own space craft to study space, explore how a sun is formed, why objects orbit each other in space and learn more about this amazing new space telescope and what it will teach us about our own universe.
