Craft Beer Bingo
This time of year, during the height of summer, our community is typically gearing up for the Medici Craft Beer and Jazz Festival in Uptown Normal. With summer events looking a little different this year, Craft Beer Bingo keeps this much anticipated event alive to support not only our local breweries, but also the Children’s Discovery Museum – the annual beneficiary of the Medici Craft Beer and Jazz Festival.

Day of Play
Event Date: 9/26/2020. More than 50 vendors will take over Beaufort Street in Uptown Normal to provide scads of exciting and free PLAY activities.

Doctors in Concert
Event Date: 9/18/2020. The annual Doctors in Concert fundraising event continues with a twist… this year’s concert will be live streamed direct to you from the Children’s Discovery Museum!

Make Music Normal
Event Date: 6/26-6/27/2020. Make Music Normal is an all-day, free music festival taking place in Uptown Normal. The festival offers experiences for participants of any age and any skill level to make music, in addition to seeing a diverse lineup of musical acts performing all day long.

Noon Year's Eve Dance Party Countdown
The Children’s Discovery Museum (CDM) joins more than 10 other museums and science centers in Illinois and Indiana to continue its annual tradition of providing local children with a Noon Year’s Eve countdown. Thanks to support from Commerce Bank and Commerce Trust Company, this live-stream event will be free to all who join the fun.
