Welcome Back!

Entry Requirements:

  • We are excited to welcome you back – and appreciate your willingness in following our new procedures and protocols to continue inspiring the love of learning through power of play!
  • The Museum will be offering 2-hour play times with limited capacity. Advance registration is recommended. Staff will be cleaning in between play sessions. (see additional facility and cleaning protocols below)
  • Everyone 2 years and older are required to wear a facemask during their visit. Face masks should fully cover an individual’s nose and mouth. If you are unable to follow our mask requirement, please consider visiting in the future.
  • We are offering 2 mask free zones; Dig It (outdoor area) and the 2nd floor balcony. Capacity will be limited in these spaces.
  • All Members and Guests will entry through the Museum Store door and exit through the main lobby doors.
  • Visitors will use hand-sanitizer as they entry the building and throughout their visit.
  • Visitors are encouraged to social distance as they explore the Museum.
  • Water fountains will remain closed. (visitors encouraged to bring a water bottle)
  • Food and snacks are currently not allowed.
  • Please stay home if you are ill or experiencing symptoms.

 

Facility Updates for COVID

  • New air filters for our ventilation system
  • Additional hand-sanitizer stations have been added to the Museum exhibit areas. 
  • Staff will clean high-touch points every 30 minutes.
  • Exhibit props will be rotated out every 30 minutes.
  • Visitors will be asked to social distance to the best of their ability.
  • Visitors will be asked to travel one-way in the stairwells

  • We will limit use of the elevator to one family/group per use.
  • Mask Break Zones will be located in Dig It on the first floor and on the 2nd floor balcony … capacity limitations will apply.
  • No food may be consumed in the building during this time.
