Pantagraph Article: Discovery Museum exhibit gets upgrade

NORMAL — Hundreds of thousands in fundraising dollars, two years and one pandemic later, the "Healthy Me!" exhibit at the Children's Discovery Museum in Normal is open for business. 

Lead donors to the roughly $420,000 exhibit include OSF Healthcare, the McLean County Dental Society and the Meyers Family Foundation, as well as then-Advocate BroMenn Medical Center and Community Cancer Center.

News Release: Environmental leaders urge attendees to bring refillable water bottles to events

Normal, IL – Aug. 27, 2021 – The Town of Normal Cultural Arts Department, Illinois State University’s Office of Sustainability and the Ecology Action Center (EAC) encourage festival and event attendees to bring their own reusable water bottles to festivities in Uptown Normal this fall.

ACM Blog: Community Education Network Supports Children and Institutions during the Pandemic

No one group or organization can do it all. The many organizations within the Bloomington/Normal, Illinois, community that serve the educational needs of children have created multiple and sometimes overlapping support groups. In addition to educators, members include psychologists, food workers, and marketing personnel, but we all work for organizations that are tied to formal or informal education in some way. Sharing a commitment to care for families, these professionals from different nonprofit organizations work together to identify needs and coordinate responses.
