  1. Discovery Day Camp: Fall STEAM Ahead

    September 25, 2020, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

    Fall started this week, learn what this means and the science behind all that is fall! Discovery Day Camps offers children an opportunity to engage in STEAM based learning through play. Each day consists of play time in the classroom while students are arriving, themed activities, 30 min lunch, more fun activities, then snack and play time in the classroom during pick up. Children will have their own table and set of supplies and will not share materials with other program participants. All participants will be required to wear a mask for the entirety of the program. Classes will be limited to 9 students each group. A second group will be added if sufficient interest is expressed. Each program will need a minimum of 5 students to run.

  2. Day of Play Your Way!

    Day of Play will take place at your homes, parks, and community landmarks via planned activities you and your family can do together at whatever time works for you! Thanks to our presenting partner, PNC, we have crafted a Day of Play - Play Pack. The day is FREE and provides opportunities for kids and parents to play and learn together! Families can look forward to STEAM activities, Community Scavenger Hunt, Story Walk, as well as high energy exercises and games to do at home. Supplies will be provided.   3. School Age Program- Meteorology: 5-8 year old

    October is Earth Science month. We will learn about the science of meteorology and where our weather comes from. School age programs are available to all students between the age of 5 and 13. We ask that families sign their child up for the appropriate section. These programs allow children to experience STEAM based activities and concepts through hands-on experiments, building, and play. Children will have their own table and set of supplies and will not share materials with other program participants. All participants will be required to wear a mask for the entirety of the program. If Wednesday and Friday programs fill, a Thursday session will be added. Classes will be limited to 9 students each session. Each program will need a minimum of 5 students to run.

    Together we will celebrate NanoDays and learn about the very, very small. School age programs are available to all students between the age of 5 and 13. We ask that families sign their child up for the appropriate section. These programs allow children to experience STEAM based activities and concepts through hands-on experiments, building, and play. Children will have their own table and set of supplies and will not share materials with other program participants. All participants will be required to wear a mask for the entirety of the program. If Wednesday and Friday programs fill, a Thursday session will be added. Classes will be limited to 9 students each session. Each program will need a minimum of 5 students to run.
