The mission of the University of Illinois Master Naturalist Program is to provide science-based educational opportunities that connect people with nature and help them become engaged environmental stewards. These activities will help children connect with nature and develop an appreciation for our world’s limited natural resources. Bird Beak Buffet: Children learn about the special functions of bird beaks using household utensils and common foods, by creating with art, music and math.
