    Every day volunteers and interns help make the Children’s Discovery Museum “the most wonderful place in the world”. Volunteers spend their time interacting and playing with our visitors, help keep the museum tidy, lead free programming and assist with education classes in and out of the museum! To learn more about the many ways for individuals, organizations, and corporations to volunteer at The Children’s Discovery Museum, please see the information below.   2. Family STEM Night presented by teens from Unity Community Center

    Join us for some fun, hands-on STEM activities for the family! Teens from Unity have been working all semester with CDM staff and ISU mentors to learn new STEM concepts that they have turned into activities to teach our guests.

  3. Playful Learners Level 2 (24-36 Months)- Tiny Turkeys

    Playful Learners is designed for you and your child to learn and play together. When children play, they are learning a variety of skills all vital to their future success... including; problem-solving, communication and social-emotional. Each one-hour class begins with group time where children and adult partners play and interact together, then moves to center based learning where fine and gross motor skills are developed through play, physical moment, music and art activities.
